Flight of the Butterfly

Good Morning

I hope you're all having a good bank holiday weekend, sunshine here again this morning but it is early, fingers crossed it sticks about.

Here's a lovely card that I made at Jan's the other week.  Gorgeous colours uses and the "kissing" technique and a little "rock and roll", I was very pleased with the outcome.  Take a look and let me know what you think.

Today's Craft Class - Small heart punch

Good Afternoon All

What a lovely sunny morning we've had today in Shropshire, just wish it would last.

Today's class was a little different in that we actually used no stamps.  What?  I hear you say.  No stamps but we did use punches, ribbon, dazzling diamonds and a template from a punch to create two lovely projects.  Take a look and let me know what you think.

Punch used: Small Heart Punch
Template from: Heart to Heart punch (on pouch)

I hope you're all having a good weekend so far, where did the unexpected sunshine go today - I was so enjoying it!

We did two projects today in class, one was a card and the other was a co-ordinating box or birdhouse box since we were using the Extra-Large bird punch.  In fact we used a lot of punches in class today which everyone enjoyed, keeping all the ladies very busy creating their wonderfull projects.

Pick a Petal

Good Afternoon All

Thought I'd show you a card I've made using a stamp set that I borrowed from my lovely SU upline Jan, she's always kind enough to lend me some goodies if I dont have them myself which I really appreciate.

Pick a Petal is a lovely stamp set and one that you can make loads of different things with, as you'll see from my card - I did not in fact use the petal's as petal's at all!

Stamp set used: Pick a Petal
Punch used: 1" circle punch

Craft Class today - All a flutter

Good Afternoon

Lovely soggy day outside today which made it perfect for a busy craft class which was great fun.  Even better is the fact that I can see great improvement in my ladies techniques - always encouraging for me and more importantly for them.

Today we did a card and a matching gift box with butterflies.  Some dry embossing, heat embossing, using stampin pastels, painting........etc kept them all very busy.  Take a look and let me know what you think of our projects.

Stamp set's used: All A Flutter and Simply Said
