Medallion

Good Afternoon

Where has the glorious sunshine gone?  We've had a beautifull week and come the weekend.........., dull outside.

At least inside all was sunny and bright for another lovely class.  We used the LARGE medallion background stamp and not just for the background but as the main focus of the card and matching bag-a-lope.  Fantastic to see everyones creativity emerging as they each decided how best to hold this rather large stamp to get the best effect for their projects.  We also used a piece of ribbon, which to some of my class members strikes pure dread through their hearts, however I am happy to say that they loved the technique used to make this ruffle ribbon.

Stamp used: Medallion and circle of friendship (retired)

Knives and FORKS at the ready

Good Morning

Yesterday's craft class was loads of fun.  I'd "set" the table with knives and forks, this of course caused a little alarm when the ladies arrived.  We made two cards, one using products from my stash - see my Non SU projects gallery, at the bottom, for the gardening bear.  Our second card was the reason for the fork (the knife was only on the table for effect). We used the fork to make the bow, a really clever technique and very effective for small bows and the SU tafetta ribbon is PERFECT for the job.

Stamp set used: Punch Potpourri
Punch Used: Two-Step Bird Extra-Large
