Arent they cute??

Hello

So very, very tired today.  Was wide awake at 1.30am thinking about scrapbooking and then could not get back to sleep..............oh well, the downside of loving crafting but it's worth it.

No card or scrapbook page today - just because!  Instead I've put up a picture of my two very cute "babies"

Thank You

Hello

Well, just received my stampin around wheel guide today.  Hmmm, looks like I might need to play with it a bit and figure it out, can only be a good thing to have one for getting straight lines when needed and for scrapbooking.

I've decided to show you a lovely bright Thank You card, lovely stamp set used, another one that I dont own........yet but used when I went to "play" at my SU upline, Jan's house.

Stamp set used: Fresh Cuts

Scrapbooking

Hello Everyone

Had a very busy morning at work this morning.  Got home and there was a box of goodies waiting for me (at my very kind neighbours house). Such excitement and the contents are not even my mine!  I had a class last Tuesday night and it's their goodies that have arrived nice and quickly. Exciting!!

Today I've decided to show you the front cover of my little scrapbook that I'm working on.  It's nothing fancy but I do like what I've done with the otherwise boring front cover using the natures nest stamp set.

A friend.............

Hello

Hope you've all been having a good weekend. We've been visiting with friends and it's been lovely to see them again.  They have two little boys who are VERY active and keep you on your toes every minute of the day!

The card below is created using a few techniques.  I've been playing around and combining things to see how they turn out.  I'm really pleased with the result.  I've edged the vanilla card using chocolate chip ink and then distressed it.  For the hearts, I've used the "suede technique" and for the olive card I've used the versamark ink pad to create a watermark look background.  I've also used the corner rounder on some of the card and paper to give a few different dimensions.

Stamp sets used: Simply Said and It's Beautifull Wheel
Punches used: Full Heart punch and corner rounder

Happy Birthday

Good Morning

Lovely and bright here this morning, let's hope it lasts the day!

Here's a simple card using a stamp set that I love, just need to make time to "play" with it more.  Very versatile as it can be used for mens cards too.

Warm wishes

Hello

Well it's a very wet afternoon, a little bit or rumbling and lots of water falling from the sky.  I guess the garden needs it now that we're getting to summertime (clocks change this weeked)

Here's a lovely little card, using colours that I would never have believed worked together but Stampin' Up! has colour families and we're told that everything in that family will work together, so.........I put it to the test by using pink and red together and was pleasantly surprised by the result!

Stamp sets used: Greenhouse Garden and Cheer and wishes

Have a good weekend

Wedding Invitation Class

Hello Everyone

Had another class last night, 3 ladies came along - they were looking at making their own wedding invitations.  Everyone had a great time, I showed them various samples as they were open to suggestion.  Specifications were gold or silver and a bit of bling! Here is one of the samples that I showed them.

Stamp sets used: Cheer and wishes and It's beautifull jumbo wheel.

Vintage Vogue (a sneak peek to April)

Wow!  The sun came out again today, only to be hidden away behind the clouds again now (can you tell I'm obsessed with the sun)?

Here's a stamp set that I've been looking forward to using, Vintage Vogue.  It comes out in April in the new Mini Catalogue and it's absolutely beautifull.  Made a quick invitation using it and I'm very pleased with the result.

Craft Class today!

Hello Everyone

Bit of a dull old day here in Shropshire today, rain, rain and a bit more rain.  Never the less just had two lovely ladies around for a class this morning and we had great fun. Jill and Andrea had never done any stamping before and to say that I was proud of their projects, is an understatement!  They were brilliant!

These are the projects that they created today

Coventry Training Day

Morning

Coventry Training yesterday, it was lovely to meet so many of the Stampin' Up! family.  I thought that I'd share my swap (using the new heart punch) with you all this morning.  I'm sure that if I waited for the light to come up more it would be a better picture but............

Nature's Nest (shells)

Another beautifull day today!

I love this set, gives scope for a lot of cards and perfect for mens card too.  I've chosen to show you a card using the shell and birds nest as the central accent.  I love the colours as I believe they show off the stamps!

Forest Friends (treat bag and card set)

Morning all

Double digits today, seems that Spring might actually be on it's way!

I thought that I'd show you some Forest Friends, no little lambs, but this little stamp set is sooooooooooo cute.  I was thinking of ways to show it off and thought that the below little set turned out very well indeed! There are so many other uses for it though as it can be combined with many of the lovely SU papers and of course, all the cardstock and inks!
