A couple of punches

Good Morning All

Hope you're all well.  Ready for another day of sunshine and showers, let's hope there's more of the sunshine!

As I mentioned a couple of blog post's ago, I've been trying a few different designs.  While this card is very "girly" it can just as easily be done for a man using two masculine colour's for your cardstock and masculine stamp set.

I've used gorgeous stamp set's and the co-ordinating punches.  So much easier and quicker than cutting around your stamped images which is one of the distinct advantages of Stampin' Up! products, there are loads of co-ordinating stamp set's and punches.  If you're thinking that everything co-ordinates beautifully, well that's because I've also used the co-ordinating stampin pastels, giving a lovely soft chalky finish.

Stamp set's used: Punch Potpourri (hostess) and Cheer and Wishes
Punches used: Two-Step Bird Extra-Large and Boho Blossoms Extra-Large
Embossing folder used: Perfect Polka Dots

  1. Hi Loraine! Thanks for your kind comments on my blog! Love this card - plain yet effective! Also love your waterfall card from a couple of post back. Still have to try one of those.
    Have a great day!

  2. These colours are great together and I love the use of those soft pastels. Vx

We were at the rose garden at Albrighton last week, didn't realise it was your neck of the woods!

  3. So sweet and simple... love it's softness.

  5. Oh this is very stylish. The bird looks great against the embossing too. xxx

  6. Such a pretty card, love those summer colours.
I love Stampin' Up for the punches and stamps co-odinating.

  7. Yep! The punches deffenly make life easier, cant argue with that!

  8. Adorable card. That little birdie is lovely. Thanks for joining us at MMCS challenges this week! :)
