Good Evening All
I hope you've had a very good day. It's been a dull, wet and cool day here in Shropshire today.
The card that I'm going to show you today is a fairly simple one that I made while doing my demo's at the craft fair this past weekend. I've used one of my favourite stamp sets. The embelishment in the bottom left hand corner was created by my crafting friend Elaine who kindly sewed the button on for me too. Me and sewing are still not very good friends and Elaine creates some lovely cards using her yo-yo's. The shimmer on the chocolate chip cardstock is done using the champagne shimmer mist which I've used as a spritz and there are some dazzling diamonds on the F for just a little more bling.

A picture of ME at the fair
Good Morning
I told you yesterday that I knew there were some other pictures taken of my table at the Craft Fair in Shifnal. Well the picture below was taken by Brian Copson, who's wife Andrea is my most regular Saturday morning craft class member, so thank you to them!

My first Fair
Good Evening All
Well, today I had no class as I was asked to attend the local craft fair in our village. This is my first craft fair and I had a really lovely day spent amongst many other crafty people and doing demonstrations/making cards at my table throughout the day.
I took one picture of my table which is below but I know there were other pictures taken which means that you might see them pop up on my blog over the next week or so.

Gift tags
Good Afternoon
Well, I've been having a bit of a play and doing a bit of distressing which I've enjoyed and I've come up with some gift tags, yes they may all look the same to you but each one is different, only by placement of the stamps but it just shows how many combinations you can get with one stamp set.

Shadow box card
Good Evening
Well today has been a lovely day. I started off intending to make "a million cards" but got interupted by some wonderfull visitors throughout the day and ended up doing just one, no complaints though as I do love receiving visitors, especially when all of them craft in one way or another.
Thought I'd try out a card shape that I've not tried before and that's the shadow box card. Although I'm pleased with the result I'm not quite sure about it, as happens with a few "new" shapes and idea's. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Pocket Silhouettes - Class
Good Evening All
Hope you're all well. What on earth happened to the lovely morning that we had today? It's now dull, dreary and raining!
At least we had a lovely class this morning, loads of chatter this morning but we finished our projects with time to spare, much to my husband's amazement.........little does he know that we have a good natter and craft every week, he was just home for a change. It's called multi-tasking. We did a card and gift box to match today, well, there were some chocolates inside instead of a gift and I'm not sure they were going to make it home after class............did they I wonder??

Tree Trimmings
Good Afternoon All
Well, I'm on a roll............sort of. Made another Christmas card using a lovely little set which has great potential over the festive season. Just cant decide if some words are needed on the outside of my card, hmmm. Take a peak and let me know what you think.
I also "discovered" the 2-way glue pen, yes well what can I say, it's taken me a while! This is a fab glue pen and does not smudge the ink when sprinkling on the dazzling diamonds (glitter) so a thumbs up from me. I also used, the edge of the eyelet border punch to tear against to get my torn shape. See many uses for the fabulous Stampin' Up! products, even something unintended.

Serene Snowflakes
Good Morning All
What a grey day outside today, very wet here in Shropshire - even the dog does not want to go outside and play!
I guess we're well on our way to at least thinking about starting Christmas cards. I know I've made a few already but depending on how many you have to make, an early start is often good. Take a look at the little card below using one of the larger stamps, as the focal point, from a beautifull stamp set, along with some dazzling diamonds for that little bit of "bling"
Stamp set's used: Serene Snowflakes, Tiny tags
Punch Used: Medium Jewelery Punch

Natures Nest - class
Good Afternoon
Hope you're all having a wonderfull weekend so far, mine has been relaxing and satisfying so far. A good start.
Today in class we used a new technique, we did a bit of emboss resist using the peacock feather from the lovely natures nest stamp set and we also did a bit of colouring. Take a peak and let me know what you think.

Trendy Trees - thanks so much
Good Afternoon
Hope you're all well in blogland this week and having fun.
Thought I'd show you a little 4 x 4 card made using the trendy trees stamp set. I love this size of card and love this little set, it always comes in so very usefull and it's fun to use as it's two-step stamping too. I made an envelope to go with the theme, always nice to receive something with some detail on the envelope I think, makes you wonder what's inside.

What do we do with the "scrap" left over
Good Evening
I thought that I'd share something with you. When you buy Stampin' Up! stamp sets, you have to put them together yourself, this in itself is a bit of fun and keeps you in suspense after receiving your products - just for a little while longer until you've completed your first task. Thereafter, what do we do with the "scrap" as most stamp set's are now die-cut and the background remain's, only to be thrown away............or does it?
Take a look at what I've done below and then the lovely little card that I created for my stamping pal, Alex, for her Birthday!
"The Scraps"
The result: a background stamp (created using an acrylic block)
The result: a lovely abstract background
Stamp set used: Tiny Tags (and own creation of background stamp)
Punches used: Extra-Large, Two-Step, Bird Punch and Medium Jewelery Tag
Happy Crafting and creating

Butterflies and Snowflakes
Good Afternoon
I hope you're all well, enjoying the remainder of the sunny weather, well apparently it's all set to change next week.
This week in class we went for a bit of "bling". We did two very different cards, as the title suggests! Snowflakes and Butterflies were the order of the day. Dazzling diamonds were used on both cards and as you can imagine everyone went home with quite a bit of sparkle!
Stamp set's used: Serene Snowflakes, All a Flutter and Tiny Tags
Wheel used: Vintage Vogue
Punch used: Medium Jewelery Tag
Satin Ribbon: Real red and Old Olive
Rhinestone Brads: Clear
Shimmer Paint: Champagne Mist

Workshop.......yayy!
Good evening All
I've just returned from a wonderfull workshop this afternoon. I met 7 lovely ladies at their fortnightly crafty get together and we had a wonderfull time. They do all sorts of crafts at their get together's but this week was card making so they invited me along to do a demo for them which I thoroughly enjoyed! We made two cards, only one of which I've taken a picture of at present but thought that I'd share it with you.
Stamp set's used: Dasher and Tiny tags
Punch used: Medium jewelery tag
Linen thread and red satin ribbon used and of course some dazzling diamonds
