What do we do with the "scrap" left over

Good Evening

I thought that I'd share something with you.  When you buy Stampin' Up! stamp sets, you have to put them together yourself, this in itself is a bit of fun and keeps you in suspense after receiving your products - just for a little while longer until you've completed your first task.  Thereafter, what do we do with the "scrap" as most stamp set's are now die-cut and the background remain's, only to be thrown away............or does it?

Take a look at what I've done below and then the lovely little card that I created for my stamping pal, Alex, for her Birthday!

"The Scraps"

The result: a background stamp (created using an acrylic block)

The result: a lovely abstract background
Stamp set used: Tiny Tags (and own creation of background stamp)
Punches used: Extra-Large, Two-Step, Bird Punch and Medium Jewelery Tag

Happy Crafting and creating
Loraine
